Safeguarding Culture:
​We have a established culture in which staff, children, parents, and others feel comfortable raising and discussing any concerns relating to safeguarding children and feel confident that appropriate action will be taken accordingly. We ensure that safeguarding procedures and associated polices and clear and accessible to all parents and service users. We form good relationships with external agencies that support the safeguarding procedures of our setting. regular information is shared with local authority regarding statutory assessments and safeguarding procedures. Staff at early nurture preschool work closely with social workers and other professionals, as appropriate to provide effective multi agency planning and support children those in need.
All staff also have yearly training to understand their safeguarding responsibilities and duties of care. Staff also have 4 supervisions a year to review and discuss any new disclosures. All staff are given up to date training on reporting safeguarding, whistle blowing, poor safeguarding practices, allegations against staff and record keeping procedures.

Staff also have safer recruitment training the leader and follows the safer recruitment procedures effectively.

Behaviour, attitudes and establishing routines
​
Early Nurture Preschool has created an environment that positively support's children's learning, development and care. The manager and staff support children's attitude's and behaviours through teaching children how to manage their emotions and feelings using colour monster play and learning and listening to the monster story and reflecting.
We have clear expectations at the preschool we use the kind tree that children reflect on daily fostering a [positive and inclusive and respectful culture.
