Welfare and Safeguarding requirements:
All staff and volunteers are recruited through the safer recruitment process, with relevant DBS checks are carried out and the relevant safer recruitment paperwork is obtained.
Staff also have safer recruitment training the leader and follows the safer recruitment procedures effectively.
Early Nurture Pre-school embeds a healthy, safe, secure environment were all the children's needs are met, staff form positive relationships with parents and children creating a welcoming and safe environment were children can gain confidence and remain safe. All staff take the necessary steps to keep children safe by promoting positive behaviour maintaining up to date safeguarding policies and procedures. All staff have a legal responsibility to safeguard all children and work with the local authority to keep children safe from harm
All staff also have yearly training to understand their safeguarding responsibilities and duties of care. Staff also have 4 supervisions a year to review and discuss any new disclosures, child protection cases, staff and children well-being and supportive coaching if needed. All staff are given up to date training on reporting safeguarding, whistle blowing, poor safeguarding practices, allegations against staff and record keeping procedures.
We ensure our online systems protect children online and children are given safer screen time in line with our setting policy.

Behaviour, attitudes and establishing routines
Early Nurture Preschool has created an exceptional standards of behaviour having high expectations of all children within our care. The manager and staff support children's attitude's and behaviours through teaching children how to manage and express their emotions and feelings using colour monster play and learning and listening to the monster story and reflecting.
We have clear expectations at the preschool we use the kind tree that children reflect on daily fostering a [positive and inclusive and respectful culture.
